Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

If you are a homeowner hiring an appraiser for the first time, then you will want to see our FAQs. There are some situations where hiring an appraiser yourself is a mistake that will cost you time and money. See the FAQs for details. Service Area

We service the Houston Metropolitan Area and and the rural, triangular area west of Houston and between San Antonio and Austin that we call the Western Region. 

The Houston Metropolitan Area is broken up into a Primary and Secondary Service Area.  Our Primary Service Area includes the area within a 32 mile radius of downtown Houston.  Within the Primary Service Area, there is no surcharge for travel.   For areas outside the Primary Service Area where extensive travel is required, there is a surcharge for travel.  We call this our secondary service area.

The Western Region includes Austin, Colorado, Waller and Washington, Burleson, Fayette, Grimes, Lavaca and Lee Counties.  Coverage may not be available in all counties because of MLS limitations.

Multiple Listing Services

We subscribe to the Houston Area Realtors (HAR) MLS and the Texas Listing Service (TxLS).  We do not subscribe to the Bryan-College Station Multiple Listing Service nor do we have access to the MLS services for Beaumont or Lake Jackson.  We only accept assignments that are within the service area of our two MLS.
